HIVE artspace is an art gallery and artist collective located in historic downtown York, Pennsylvania. It is comprised of a volunteer-run art gallery, resident artists utilizing on-site studios, and a broad community of exhibiting artists, both local and international. The mission of HIVE artspace is to inspire, motivate, and support artists by fostering collaboration to bring independent art into a gallery setting. They actively participate in, cultivate, and nurture the creative community within York City. HIVE artspace hosts new exhibits monthly, opening on the First Friday of each month, and these events are free and open to the public. Online viewing of exhibits is also available. The collective aims to provide a platform for artists, encourage community engagement, and showcase diverse artistic mediums and styles. They also host various events and participate in community fundraisers.
