Join us for a series of engaging family-friendly events at the library! First, enjoy "Popcorn & a Movie" at Waipahu Library with summer movie screenings of “Zootopia 2” on June 13th and “Hoppers” on July 11th. Rated PG for action and thematic elements, these movies are suitable for all ages, making them perfect for children and their families. All programs are subject to change, and advance requests for auxiliary aids or services are encouraged to ensure effective communication.
Next, head to Wai‘anae Public Library for "Messy Playtime," a hands-on activity designed for children ages 0-5 and their adult caregivers. This session promotes creativity through messy arts and crafts, including slime-making, so be sure to dress accordingly! Following that, participate in "Family Storytime," centered around the theme of ‘Uala (sweet potato), featuring stories, songs, dancing, crafts, and a sweet potato food tasting. This session is suitable for children ages 3-5, with all ages welcome, and registration is limited, so sign up at the Reference Desk.
Both events emphasize creativity, fun, and learning for children and families. For any necessary accommodations or modifications, please contact library staff in advance. We look forward to seeing you there!
